Fabrication

INTRODUCTION

J. Ray's Altamira facility is the premier location for projects in the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic. Its expansive yard has direct, unrestricted access to the Gulf of Mexico and the water depth at its quayside can accommodate large transportation barges and transport ships - ideal for deepwater floating hull assembly projects and large topsides integration. Work has begun to double the capacity of the existing skidways. The next phase of expansion, planned for 2009, includes building a heavy-lift device to further enhance J. Ray’s capability to support deepwater floating hull assembly projects for the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic.

Certification

The model for the new Altamira facility is inspired by J. Ray locations worldwide, which are accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
