COMMUNICATIONS

J. Ray McDermott Engineering (JRME) relies on its communications and computer systems to execute its projects. These systems have been developed and integrated in our offices over the last 10 years. JRME is proud of its capabilities and its continuous attempts to update and improve the utilization of computer applications to meet customer needs.

All of JRME's systems are made available to customers based on their requirements. These systems can also be expanded, on a reimbursable basis, to cater to customers' additional requirements.

JRME's local area network includes an extensive twisted-pair Ethernet infrastructure that connects over 500 hardware devices, including Intel-based PCs, workstations, file servers, electronic mail systems, and web servers. This network is connected to several wide area networks, including our parent company's wide area network, and to the Internet. Firewalls provide security from external users.

A private voice network provides direct access to most of McDermott's sites around the world. This allows JRME to provide quick and economic communications around the organization and throughout the world.

McDermott has contracted with AT&T Solutions to provide voice communications and Information Technology services for all of its operating units
